Admission

No. of seat in BA.I is 475.

1. Admission will be strictly to the number of the seats allocated by the University Under no circumstance the number of admission will exceed the Quota Allocated by the university & after expiry of due date.

2. The Brochure & the application form for admission to B.A-I can be obtained from the college office on the payment of prescribed fee, in cash. This amount is non-refundable under any circumstance.

3. Admission will be done strictly on the basis of merit with reservation policy as pre Govt. rules.

4. The candidate will have to ensure beyond any doubt that she does not have pervious criminal record & has not been tried or convicted of any criminal offence or misconduct and that too disciplinary action has not been taken against her by the college/university authorities.

5. Admission to BA-II year and BA-III year classes shall be finalized within specified period as per the direction of the university.

6. All admission shall be subject to the approval of the admission committee which will be duly constituted.

7. Admission fee will be accepted only in cash at the college counter within the specified period, failing which her admission will automatically stand cancelled. No admission is completed till the fees is deposited.

8. Sever action will be taken against the students found involved in ragging as per directions issued by the honorable supreme court of India.

9. The application form duly filled in should be submitted to the principal’s office within the prescribed time along with photocopies attested by the candidate herself of the following documents:-

  1. High School mark sheet & High School certificate
  2. Intermediate mark sheet & intermediate certificate
  3. Character certificate from head of the institution last attended.
  4. Proof of :- a) Local Address. b) Permanent Address
  5. Caste Certificate in case of S.C /S.T/O.B.C candidate for the purpose of getting scholarship etc.
  6. N.C.C, N.S.S or Scout & Guide certificate
10. Merit of a candidate seeking admission to B.A- I class will be determine on the basis of a merit index which will be generated by the addition of normalized percentage of marks obtained in XII/Qualifying examination. Merit Index Normalized percentage of marks obtained in XII or qualifying examination.

11. The process of normalization of marks for the undergraduate admission is mentioned below:- "In order to remove disparity that exists between the marks awarded to the candidates by different examination authorities / boards in the country. A system of Normalization procedure the first rank student of one board will be equal to that of the first rank of the other boards. As such the first rank student of each board will considered to have obtained 100% marks and the aggregate marks of all other students from that board will be normalized with reference to the aggregate marks obtained by the first rank student of a board is 94% her normalized aggregate is 100% and if student from same board obtained 88% marks, then the normalized percentage will be (88*100)/94=93.61. The institution shall procure on its own percentage of marks obtained by first rank student of central board of secondary education council of Indian School Certificate and U.P Board. All other Boards will be treated at par with I.S.C for the purpose of normalization of marks."

12. The merit index of the candidates will be displayed on the College Notice Board in the form of merit list. Those candidate whose merit list will be required to appear before admission committee along with original certificate on the date and time notified on the college notice board. The committee will finalize Admission process after scrutiny of the applicants from original certificate and mark sheets.

13. Candidates seeking admission to B.A-I must have obtained 40% marks in the intermediate or equivalent examination recognized by Lucknow University. Five Marks will be deducted for each gap year.

14. A candidate who has already completed graduation shall be further allowed to take admission in undergraduate class.

Students seeking admission to any class in the college are advised that they should not take the help of any agency or person, who promises to help them in getting admitted to the college. In many cases in the past new student have been lured and become victims of fraud. All disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction of Lucknow Courts only.
